For the 2019-2020 school year, only one room parent will be needed per classroom. A room parent is needed to provide the link between the classroom teacher and the parents. It is an important role that includes providing help with class activities/parties, volunteering, sending class emails, or assisting with any additional tasks the teacher needs throughout the year. The room rep also has the responsibility to respect and protect student personal information while in the classroom.
If you are interested in being considered for a room rep position, please fill out the form below by clicking on Volunteer to be a Room Rep. Signing up doesn’t guarantee you will be the room parent. You will be notified via email or phone before school starts if you have been selected to be a room parent.
Once you have been selected to be a room parent, you will need to meet with the PTSA to review the roles and responsibilities you will have throughout the year. You will be notified of the date and time. Contact the chair with any questions.
